My Music

I’m in the finishing touches of wrapping up my 2nd album.  Hopefully, it will be out in Spring 2010, but in the meantime, here’s a sneak peek at some of the songs.  Please note, there are REALLY RUFF mixes!  :)

Please share your thoughts and comments!   :)

  • Woman Warrior - a rough mix of a song I wrote, inspired by the Maxine Hong Kingston book of the same name. The lyrics in the hook really say it all.

  • Endless Possibilities – this might possibly be my most favorite song I’ve written.  For some reason, every time I hear it, I feel hopeful.  It came to me all at once. It’s really a song about hope, and letting go of your histories of heartache and being courageous enough to love again.

  • I See You - this is a low-key song…my “Snorah Jones” song. The full instrumental version will have an upright bass, keys and a few horns

Love the Woman Warrior song! As a Korean woman, I had to check out what a “seoul singer” is. :) Best wishes in your music career!

I stumbled upon your site the other day through a link to one of your restaurant reviews. I also just got my copy of West 32nd street in today, and when I watched the MV on the DVD I remembered your site^^ Great song

Hey Pete, Thanks so much for leaving the comment. :) What did you think of the movie? It was nice to see John Cho in a non-Harold, more serious role.

I really enjoyed it. I saw it in the theater a while back when I was in Korea, and I’ve been waiting patiently for it to come out on DVD ever since. The cast was great, and the location… well you gotta love NY

Heather Park showed up in my R&B genius mix on my iPod the other day as I was walking down the street. I thought that was pretty cool. Are you doing any shows soon?

Girl you had Endless Possibilities up on MySpace for a while though, no? I remember making it my homepage song (back when I actually used MS, heh.)

You are such an incredible talent and beautiful soul Miss H.

    Love you! xo

Even though you are calling these your rough versions (I can’t tell) each song is very nice, I can’t wait for the album to drop so that I can support. I especially like “I See You” very nice, easy and mellow. Thanks for sharing :)
