Call me old fashioned, but I love the way WHITE looks on people. It’s truly flattering and it looks clean, elegant and youthful (I sound just like Momma Park, SMH).
I’ve always wanted to wear a white bra top to Bikram class. But ladies, you know the formula:
- WHITE + WATER = SEE THRU!
As much of a rambunctious spirit as I am, I’m definitely modest in a lot of ways. Showing my nips in class is not something I strive to do (nor would Momma Park approve).
Much to my delight, my friends at Yogabela told me they just started double-lining their white bras!! And yet, I was still skeptical. So I got the Yogabela Rio Y-Bra in white to put it to the sweat test!

*here’s the back view
So, while I was in Miami, I dared to try it (somehow, showing nips in front of strangers = less embarrassing than showing nips in front of regular yoga buddies).
Outcome: NO NIPS!!
It is now one of my most favorite bras.
Finally, a workout white that I can wear without worry! I’m planning on buying the Yogabela Praia Roll Down Short in the Denim color to complete my ensemble! (kinda like an “all-American” blue jeans & white tank yoga outfit) ![]()
Hurray!
Yogabela Maringa Bra, $42.
I like the design and it looks very comfortable.
Sweet! Thanks for the review
thanks ladies! It’s definitely my fave bra style from Yogabela. Offers great support too!
“Outcome: NO NIPS!!”
HAHA! but yeah, visible nipples are seriously distracting. I see this way too often! i.e. with almost every white AA top…I know you’re an AA fiend but I find most of their white tops to be nipple-tastic
I’d love to wear white workout clothes but I’m afraid they will get dingy too quickly…between the yellow sweat stains and the greyish tone that everything white eventually turns. what material is this? is it bleachable?
Hey Pheon! LOL. Somehow I think that the AA things are nip-tastic on purpose, so that EVERYone can look like a soft porn star….
I’m pretty sure you can bleach them….I can ask!
I hand-wash all my yoga things immediately after class and so far, I’ve had no issue with the white. All the yogabela pieces are made out of a supplex — absolutely no cotton, so it’s resistant to staining and dinginess.
Yogabela Ether (white) cannot be bleached, nor can any supplex, to my knowlege. However, here’s a trick to keeping your white things white:
wash regular, don’t dry and if there’s a sunny spot to hang your laundry in you will see it freshens up the color every washing. I am not so fussy with my white yogabela as the owner I can get new ones anytime. I never babied my yogabela and nothing white ever got dingy.
Wow, thanks for sharing, Pamela!!
