Part 2 of my journey through the Yogabela clothing catalogue!
Another Yogabela style I recently test drove was the Porto Short.

Here are some basic product deets about this particular women’s shorts style:
- made of lightweight, supplex (very similar to bathing suit material)
- comes in 3 sizes, 15 colors
- doesn’t have an elasticized waist, just a tie-waist
- 3.5″ inseam

I’ve worn this short a few times and here are my thoughts:
- über comfy! Because the material is similar to swimsuit material, it feels like you have NOTHING on. The shorts are weightless and light!
- EASY to wash! The supplex material makes it very easy to wash — the suds wash out extremely well. They also dry very quickly! (think bathing suit)
- I miss an elasticized waistband. I have a love/hate with elastics and shorts. On one hand, I hate them because too-tight elastic waistbands can create that oh-so-lovely muffin top effect. ICK. But on the other hand, because the Porto Shorts DON’T have elastic, I find I have to very securely tie the waist to ensure a snug fit.
- Shorts for short people. Let’s face it, I’m not a tall gal (5’3″). My legs are also pretty short in proportion to my torso. This means that a 3.5″ inseam is a little on the longer side than what I’m used to practicing in. HOWEVER: for people who like a little extra coverage, these are great!
