A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to visit the Yogabela factory to meet with Joel and Barbara. They were so nice enough to let me “test run” a few of their styles that I hadn’t tried yet. I wanted to practice in each piece a few times so I could give a more experienced opinion, so here it is!
One of the things I love about Yogabela‘s styles is their simplicity. No bells & whistles — just well-made, practical and durable workout wear. Because this line was originally developed with Bikram Yoga in mind, their fabrics holds up to the severe sweat and vigorous daily washing required by Bikram.
The Yogabela Volta Bra is a simple U-neck bra design, with spaghetti straps and a racer back style.

Here’s a shot of the back on.
DETAILED INFO:
- Fabric is lightweight, soft, yet durable.
- Washes extremely well — easy to get all the suds out.
- Boob support: light. Fortunately, I don’t need much support in that department, but for my more bountiful yoginis, I’m not sure this design offers enough of the support you may need.
- Straps: Very comfortable. Spaghetti style, but the fabric is so soft, they don’t dig into shoulders.
Because this fabric is so light, it feels like you have nothing on! Which, if you’re in a 105-degree room for 90 minutes, is a GREAT feeling. ![]()
