While looking for bra options at my fave site — American Apparel — I stumbled across this new item:
The American Apparel Leather Bustier.
SWOON!
I’m not sure how I would ACTUALLY incorporate it into a regular wardrobe without having it look too costume-y.
I can totally see it paired with stilettos, skinny disco pants, a beret, matte red lipstick with a cigarette hanging loosely from the lips. Kinda like Olivia Newton John à la Grease:
Nonetheless, I’m up for the wardrobing challenge! Will probably get it in the new year…

I like this! I bet you could pull it off- what about some high waisted sailor-esque/Rita Hayworth type pants, snakeskin stillettos and a tailored jacket and belt? I love this idea though and I agree- it’s hard to find fun items like this and keep it wear-worthy without looking like you’re ‘trying’

It does look nice but I’m scared that if I move too much that it’ll pop right off.
