“Trust You” Music Video Re-Shoot Nails…

This past Sunday, I had to do a re-shoot for a music video for “Trust You”, which is the 1st single off my new upcoming album Nu-Seoul. You know I never need a reason to get totally blinged out nails, but if you give me one…I’ll take it all the way!!
I knew I wanted a dramatic black nail design, but wasn’t sure exactly what. Then I saw this picture of Katy Perry’s nails from the VMAs on Bellasugar, and it sparked ideas:

Then I looked back at some of the nail designs I’d been eye-ing in the past, and caught a glimpse of this cute one:

So…the wheels started churning.  :)   Manami got to work.
First: I asked to keep the nail shape pointy/oval.  A first for me.  I’ve noticed the more I frequent Sakura, the more pointed my nail shape gets.

Manami started with the deep black reverse French on all the nails.  But for the ring finger, she mixed 2 types of silver glitters with the Calgel in Ice!

Then Manami got to work with placing the rhinestones on the ring finger.  It proved to be more difficult than originally anticipated – trying to space them out in a perfectly straight and orderly fashion was hard…but of course, Manami did it!

Then she went to place random holograms and rhinestones on the rest of the fingers.  The great thing about Manami, is that she’ll place them at random, and yet they’ll look absolutely perfect!

(so much bling!)
Thank you to Manami for rocking it out — YET AGAIN!  Love the ladies at Sakura for putting up with my wacky nail requests!
