During my recent LA Trip for work, I made plans to meet up with my friend, comedian Danny Cho.

I met him about 3 years ago, when we both did a gig together at Fordham University.  For those of you who may not know….Danny Cho is one of the funniest people I’ve met.  He is not your momma’s comic – he is raunchy, extreme and PUSHES the envelope, which is what I love about him.

So, he promised me  $17 All-You-Can-Eat Korean BBQ for my visit.  Did he deliver??  HELL YES.
All roads lead to Road To Seoul, a relatively new BBQ Buffet place.

One look at the menu, and it was TRUE:

The catch with any All-You-Can-Eat BBQ is: if you leave ANYthing behind, they’ll charge you extra for the squandered meat.  So the moral of the story: EAT ALL YOUR MEAT!
Each table comes equipped with a button/doorbell/buzzer that will summon the waitress to come to your table.  You order by different types of meat: pork, plain steak, marinated kalbi…and they bring it out on a platter, as you order.  You also get tons of banchan, fresh salad, as well as Gyurahn Jim (egg), Daenjang Jigae and Nuroongji.




We had at least 6 different servings of meat + 2 liters of beer + soju.  Dinner was a mere $30 per person!!  It was heaven!  The meat was a little fatty, but it’s to be expected when it’s unlimited!
I highly recommend this place if you’re out in LA.    Great bang for your buck!
