Leopard Print CalGel – Holly from Nylon

Last night, @erinmccaffrey and I went to Sakura Nail Spa with Holly from Nylon Mag. She’s equally a nail fiend, so we had to induct her into the Cult of CalGel.
She was WAY adventurous and got these amazing leopard print nails. Her nail artist was SUKI – who is an incredible artist. Please keep in mind that he did everything BY HAND!

The process:
- He did a base Clear Calgel
- Then did 2 coats of white CalGel on the entire nail
- He did “dots” of the light-brown shade all around the nails.
- Then with Acryllic dark brown paint, he took a super-micro brush and hand-painted the accents around the “dots”
- Finished the nails with a topcoat of Clear Calgel
@erinmccaffrey also got her nails hooked up. She went the more conservative route, being her first trip to Sakura, but we DID convince her to get some nail bling:

Wow. Those leopard nails are GORGEOUS! I would totally do that or a giraffe print – I love daring stuff like that. I wish I could find someone to do that in DC.
