After a great Friday night out with friends, “Slumdog Millionaire”, a near-encounter with an additional piercing, and time spent with good friends this weekend…I woke up this morning feeling slightly better than I have in a while. The hole in my chest has stopped panging, and now it’s just a dull constant ache.
Even though I stayed up late enough for the Honeymooners to come on the rerun channel, sleep seems to have become of little consequence these days. The body is a very interesting machine indeed.
This morning, NY1 said it was going to be 60 degrees. Translation: time to bust out a skirt! I’m wearing tights, a black pencil skirt and a simple tank. So I opted for an understated eye with a bright red lip:

For the face, I used:
- Darphin Arovita C Cream
- a new MAC Prep + Prime product that is UNBELIEVABLE .
- MAC Face & Body Foundation in N2
- MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Petticoat – just on the cheeks for that all-over flush. It really makes it look like you’re just glowing from the inside out. (which is what I need to look like right about now)

For the eyes:
- MAC Paint Pots in Rubenesque as a base all over the lid to provide some adhesion
- MAC PRO Reflect Gold patted on top
- MAC Liquidlast Liner in Point Black on top and bottom

For the lips:
- MAC Prep + Prime Lip: applied all around the lips and also just outside the lipline. An artist taught me this trick – it prevents the lipstick from bleeding
- MAC Cremestick Liner in Cranapple
- MAC Lipstick in Ladybug: it’s just a really nice, sheer, buildable color. A bright orange red, with a satin finish. Even though it’s called a Lustre lipstick, it’s not shimmery.
pretty!! Love the liner and the lip color.
Very pretty Heather!
